Kerrie Morley BSc (sports) MSc (chiro)
Kerrie Morley graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic and holds a Masters in Chiropractic, whilst continuing to attend post-graduate courses to ensure keeping up to date with the latest research and treatment techniques.
Kerrie’s journey into Chiropractic started alongside her passion for dancing from the age of 4, with Chiropractic treatment aiding the prevention and treatment of her injuries and in turn helping her to secure places at major dance academies. This experience enables her to understand the importance of optimal performance without consequent pain and stiffness. After a hard decision, Kerrie decided not to pursue her dancing career and opted to first complete a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. From here she acknowledged that she had a strong passion for helping people and wanted to make a difference to other people’s lives as her Chiropractor had done for her.
Kerrie has an eagerness for treating patients of all ages and walks of life and takes a keen interest in the management and prevention of headaches due to neck and jaw dysfunction. She has an increasing special interest in Chiropractic care during pregnancy and infancy. She had the pleasure of working alongside Bournemouth and Poole midwives to advise patients on breastfeeding techniques and screening newborns for musculoskeletal imbalances. Kerry has a passion for not only freeing patient from pain, but helping to prevent future recurrence by treating the body holistically and by undertaking thorough investigations to find the true cause of an individual’s symptoms.
Laura Simmons MChiro
Laura Simmons decided to become a chiropractor having seen the benefits of chiropractic care first hand from a young age. Laura felt that chiropractic gave her the opportunity to support patients throughout the whole recovery process, giving them the help they need to get back to their daily lives.
She graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, where she worked with Bournemouth University to treat and prevent sports injuries. This involved working with a wide range of athletes, treating injuries as well as working to enhance performance and encourage injury resistance.
Laura enjoys working with a wide range of patients from paediatric patients to the elderly. Having been a part of a combined midwifery-chiropractic clinic focusing on addressing feeding difficulties, Laura is keen to support mothers throughout pregnancy and treat the paediatric patient.
With many of us spending increasing hours using technology and having sedentary jobs and lifestyles, Laura has been involved in carrying out work place ergonomic assessments to help reduce back pain, neck pain and tension headaches through better work place set ups.
Laura continues to attend post-graduate courses focusing on her interests and treats patients of all ages helping them out of pain and addressing the root cause to aid injury prevention.
